All rental car brands are located inside of our Ground Transportation Center, making vehicle pick-up or drop off easy, allowing you to get on your way quickly.
Location
The Ground Transporation Center is located adjacent to the airport’s main terminal, Terminal A. It is in walking-distance and can be accessed by a sheltered walkway directly from the terminal. No shuttle bus is needed.
The rental car brands and their respective counters and customer service areas are located as follows:
- Floor 2: Avis, Budget, Payless
- Floor 3: Enterprise, National, Alamo
- Floor 4: Hertz, Dollar, Thrifty

Directions
Arriving Passengers: After collecting your baggage, follow the Rental Car signage inside Terminal A and proceed to level 2. The connecting corridor to the Ground Transportation Center is located by door 6.
Departing Passengers: Before your departing flight, follow roadway signage to return your vehicle to the Ground Transportation Center. Once you drop off your vehicle, proceed to the third floor of the Ground Transportation Center to access the connecting corridor to the main terminal, Terminal A.
If you are an arriving passenger, arriving into Terminal B, and need to access a rental vehicle, take the shuttle to the main terminal, Terminal A, and proceed to door #6 on level 2 to access the connecting corridor to the Ground Transportation Center.
Customers being dropped off to pick up their rental car: Follow signs for Departures. Get dropped off on curbside of Departures near door numbers 4, 5 or 6. Follow Ground Transportation Center/Car Rental Signage and take the covered walkway to enter the Ground Transportation Center.
Customers who need to park personal vehicle before getting a rental car: There is no parking for personal vehicles at rental car pick-up location. Utilize one of BDL’s parking options for parking of your personal vehicle, then walk or shuttle to Ground Transport Center based on parking option chosen. The facility is easily accessible from the airport’s parking Garage or Terminal A.
