Airport Location
Bradley International Airport is located in Windsor Locks, only 30 minutes from Hartford, Connecticut’s capital city. The following public transportation options are currently available to passengers traveling to/from the airport.
Bus Service
Bus Service to/from Hartford
CTtransit provides a dedicated bus, called the 30-Bradley Flyer, to conveniently link Bradley International Airport and downtown Hartford. The Bradley Flyer provides semi-express, direct service to the Connecticut Convention Center and Union Station in Hartford. The trip last approximately 30 minutes and currently operates every 40 minutes on weekdays and Saturdays, and approximately every hour during the early morning hours, late at night and on Sundays.

Location: To access the bus service, please proceed to Terminal A’s baggage claim/arrivals level, and proceed to door #6. The bus stop is located on the outer curb and marked as such.
Bus Service to/from Windsor Locks Train Station
CTtransit operates a bus service that connects the Windsor Locks RR station with Bradley International Airport. The bus route, known as Route 24 Bus Service, operates from 5:30 AM until 11:30 PM on weekdays only.

Train Service
Passenger rail service in Connecticut consists of three main lines and three branch lines. The New Haven Line, operated by Metro-North, operates between New Haven and Grand Central Terminal in NYC. This line has three branch lines that extend to New Canaan, Danbury and Waterbury. Shore Line East operates along the shore between New London and New Haven, with connections to the New Haven Line. The Hartford Line operates between Springfield and New Haven connecting with New Haven Line and Amtrak Northeast Corridor service.
Hartford Line
Bradley International Airport is accessible via the Hartford Line. The Hartford Line rail service offers daily travel between New Haven, Hartford and Springfield, MA. The service is provided with a combination CTrail and Amtrak trains. Convenient connections are available in New Haven to New Haven Line, Amtrak Acela and Northeast Regional, and Shore Line East rail services.
Location: The closest station to Bradley International Airport is in Windsor Locks (South Main Street at Stanton Road), only three miles away, and is accessible by Route 24 Bus Service (see above). The Union Station in Hartford, only 30 minutes away, is also accessible via the Bradley Flyer Bus Service (see above).
