Newly Renovated Lounge Reopens at Bradley International Airport

February 17, 2026

The lounge, which is operated by CAVU, under its “Escape Lounges” brand, is the airport’s only lounge. It was closed last summer and has gone through an extensive expansion project and remodel. The updated and now bigger space features the following benefits for passengers:

  • Larger footprint with increased seating capacity
  • More robust food and beverage menu due to expansion of kitchen and bar space
  • Expanded hours from 4:30am to 8pm, seven days a week

“The Escape Lounge at Bradley International Airport has been a popular destination for passengers over the years,” said Michael W. Shea, Executive Director & CEO of the CAA. “The expansion in size and offerings is a major upgrade to an already highly regarded amenity and builds on the terminal-wide modernization and customer improvement efforts we have undertaken over the last year.”

Located in BDL’s east concourse (gates 1-12), the lounge at BDL offers departing passengers an all-inclusive experience with hot and cold dishes, beverages, comfortable seating in a quiet and relaxed environment, and dedicated WiFi. Passengers can gain access to the lounge for a fee, or complimentary through an applicable credit card or travel membership. BDL’s Escape Lounge is open to individual passengers or families (children 3 and under are free).

“We’re thrilled to reopen the doors to our newly expanded Escape Lounge at Bradley International Airport,” said Shelby Shenkelman, Commercial Manager, AMER at CAVU. “This renovation represents our continued commitment to providing travelers with an exceptional airport experience. We’re excited to welcome guests back to enjoy an escape to remember, with improved amenities and an expanded space that allows even more passengers to relax and recharge before their journey.”
