Contractor Hot Works Request

All parties who will be performing hot work must request a permit, be inspected, and approved before any hot work operations begin.

Permits are typically issued for 24 hours or less. If you have a long-term project requiring multi-day hot work operations, you may request a 30 day permit. Upon completion of your request, you must contact the on-duty Fire Department Shift Commander to schedule your inspection before any work begins. It is recommended to call as far in advance as possible of your desired work start time. (860) 250-5916
