Bradley International Airport Celebrates Halloween with Visit from Connecticut Sports Mascots
Passengers at Bradley International Airport (BDL) received quite the treat today when the mascots from three local sports teams made a visit to the airport to celebrate Halloween and make it festive for travelers.
UCONN’s Jonathan the Husky, Chompers and Chew Chew from the Hartford Yard Goats, and Dillon from Hartford Athletic made their way through the terminal to hand out candy to passengers and take photos with fans.
Today’s visit builds on the Connecticut Airport Authority’s (CAA) commitment to enhance the travel experience at BDL and create a sense of place for passengers that represents Connecticut and our region. The CAA extends a special thank you to the three teams for allowing their mascots to come to the airport and create such a memorable moment for passengers and the airport community.
