Holiday Season Arrives at Bradley Airport with Friendly Tree Decorating Competition
The terminal at Bradley International Airport is turning into a winter wonderland and one display of decorations is designed to get people into the holiday spirit, with a competitive twist.
Our airline partners, shops, restaurants and other business partners are taking part in the Second Annual Tree Decorating Challenge – putting their creativity to the test. The trees are adorned with ornaments and décor that matches each company’s theme and branding. Photos of the trees are posted on the Bradley International Airport Facebook page. Anyone can vote on their favorite tree. The tree with the most “likes,” will be declared the winner and receive a trophy and a special celebration.
Passengers traveling through the airport can view the trees in person past the TSA checkpoint near gate 20.
“This time of year brings joy to a lot of people and anything we can do for our passengers to enhance their travel experience in a meaningful way while they’re in the airport is very important to us,” said Kevin A. Dillon, A.A.E., Executive Director of the Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA).

In addition to the trees, throughout the month of December, there will be holiday entertainment and musical performances in the main terminal – as well as free gift wrapping on specific days and times.
