Recognizing Our Volunteers at Bradley International Airport
Every day we are grateful for our volunteers, especially during National Volunteer Week. Here at Bradley International Airport, volunteers play an important role in providing assistance and support to passengers. To mark the special occasion, we hosted the group at the New England Air Museum as a thank you for all of their hard work and dedication.
Travelers Aid International
Did you know that our airport has over 50 dedicated volunteers who assist travelers in a variety of ways? Many of our volunteers work at the information center, helping thousands of passengers each year with directions, flight information, and more. Our information center volunteers are trained and managed by Travelers Aid International, an organization that provides support to travelers in over 26 airports across the United States. Are you interested in volunteering? Visit www.travelersaid.org for more information.
Bradley Buddies
We are also proud to host our Bradley Buddies, a growing therapy dog program that includes trained dogs and their handlers walking around the airport terminal, offering comfort, support, and a friendly presence to passengers. Each Bradley Buddy is certified by Bright Spot Therapy Dogs, Inc., a Western Massachusetts-based organization. For more information and to get to know all of our Bradley Buddies, click here.
Thank you to all of our volunteers!
