Breeze Airways Continues Expansion at Bradley International Airport

Breeze Airways, the Seriously NiceTM low-fare airline founded by aviation entrepreneur David Neeleman, is launching four new destinations from Bradley International Airport, including nonstop service to Fort Myers, FL, New Orleans, LA, and Tampa, FL, as well as one-stop/no plane change ‘BreezeThru’ flights to Los Angeles, CA.

From Bradley International Airport, the new service will operate as follows:

  • Fort Myers, FL Wednesdays and Saturdays, starting May 17
  • New Orleans, LA Mondays and Fridays, starting May 19 through September 5
  • Tampa, FL Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, starting May 18
  • Los Angeles, CA One-stop/no plane change BreezeThru daily, starting May 17

“As Breeze continues to expand their national network, we welcome their growth at Bradley International Airport,” said Kevin A. Dillon, A.A.E., Connecticut Airport Authority Executive Director. “With the addition of new, nonstop service to Tampa, Fort Myers and New Orleans, Breeze connects our passengers nonstop to 14 exciting destinations and a growing list of one-stop cities at incredibly low fares. As the airline’s base, we appreciate their investment in our region and are grateful for their support of our vision to make travel out of Bradley International Airport even more convenient.”

“Here we grow again,” said David Neeleman, Breeze’s Founder and CEO. “We always look for routes that people are traveling today but can’t get there nonstop. Hartford residents can now get to Florida and Louisiana twice as fast, for about half the price!”

This announcement comes only a week after the airline announced the launch of new nonstop service from Bradley International Airport to Vero Beach, FL, Phoenix, AZ and Raleigh-Durham, NC. From Bradley International Airport, Breeze also serves Charleston, SC, Columbus, OH, Jacksonville, FL, Las Vegas, NV, Norfolk, VA, Pittsburgh, PA, Richmond, VA, Sarasota-Bradenton, FL, and Savannah, GA. In addition to “BreezeThru” flights to Los Angeles, CA, the airline offers one-stop/no plane change service to Orlando, FL, and Tulsa, AK.
