Bradley International Airport Welcomes New Nonstop Service to Miami

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. – November 17, 2021 – Just in time for the winter, the Connecticut Airport Authority is pleased to announce that Spirit Airlines is launching new nonstop service from Bradley International Airport (BDL) to Miami starting today.

“It’s been a great four years at Bradley International Airport for Spirit Airlines, and there’s no better way to celebrate than by giving our Guests more places to go,” said John Kirby, Vice President of Network Planning. “We know people are ready to travel again, and we’re excited to add an exciting nonstop option to South Florida, with a new daily Miami flight in addition to our popular Fort Lauderdale route. It’s going to be easier than ever to getaway to the vibrant South Florida community and beyond with connections throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.”

The new service to Miami International Airport (MIA) will operate daily year-round, with the inaugural flights taking off as follows:

BDL to MIA: 8:10 PM (Departure) – 11:30 PM (Arrival)

MIA to BDL: 3:30 PM (Departure) – 6:46 PM (Arrival)

Spirit Airlines has been operating at Bradley International Airport since April 2017. In the four-and-a-half years since its debut at the airport, the airline has launched nonstop service to Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale, Myrtle Beach, Orlando, Tampa and now Miami.

Miami is one of Bradley International Airport’s most visited destinations, with the airport now offering nonstop service to six Florida cities on five different airlines.
