Tips & Updates to Bradley’s On-site Parking

Are you traveling out of Bradley International Airport in the near future? Be sure to review some helpful tips and updates to our on-airport parking options. For your convenience, we’ve summarized them below.

  1. Real-time parking availability

Our parking operator, SP+, has recently launched a new parking website to better assist you. Now, in addition to viewing all BDL parking options, you can check parking availability in the garage and surface lots in real time. Simply visit www.parkbradleyairport.com. Parking information can also be accessed from www.flybdl.org.

  1. Easier access to the terminal

The closest options to park near the terminal are located in the parking garage and Express Lot 1. Access to the terminal from the garage is available via a crosswalk on the ground floor or by one of the covered bridges accessible from the third floor. For easier access to the terminal, a new elevator has been installed at Express Lot 1 which provides access to the terminal through the Sheraton Hartford Hotel corridor.

  1. Blended rates for the garage

The parking garage has now moved to a blended rate structure. This means, whether you are parking short-term or long-term, you can park in any available parking space* in the garage. The parking fee structure will be determined by your length of stay instead of by the parking space selected.

* Parking spaces marked as official vehicle use, reserved, handicapped, etc. are excluded.

4. Parking assistance available

Need help locating a lost car, inflating a tire, or a dead battery jump? Simply contact a parking attendant, or call the SP + Parking office at (860) 627-3555. Assistance is available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year to BDL travelers.

  1. Save time with easy-in / easy-out automated lanes

SP+ Parking operates a Frequent Parker Program called Auto-Pilot Rewards. The program is free to join and allows you to enter and exit via automated lanes, making travel easier. Through the Frequent Parker Program, you can earn reward points for each day you park at BDL, which can be redeemed towards free parking. For more information visit www.parkbradleyairport.com. 

  1. New parking options – coming soon

Parking Lot 2, located across from Express Lot 1, is currently undergoing construction and is anticipated to be open for use by January 2020. This will provide nearly 800 additional parking spaces to BDL parkers. Additional covered and surface lot parking will also be available once construction is completed for our Ground Transportation Center.
