The FAA approved a grant for Phase IIA, Pilot Implementation: The consultant team has identified the first set of homes that will be acoustically treated in the pilot phase. The bid process has begun and construction is anticipated to begin sometime this summer or Fall. It is anticipated that design for Phase IIB will begin this summer, eligible homeowners will be invited to attend a homeowner kick-off meeting prior to the assessment visit of their home. These homes represent a cross-section of the typical housing stock found in the program. Once the Pilot Phase is completed, Phase IIB (insulation of 100 homes) will begin.
